About the Island
Originally discovered by English Captain James Black nearly two centuries ago, Black's Island has a rich history from stories of pirate inhabitation to the allure of hidden treasure.
Today, Black's Island provides a tranquil escape from mainland reality while still remaining a short boat or helicopter ride away from the Florida coast.
Reigning on over seven acres, the island is now configured with twenty-six barrel-shaped bungalows in addition to a clubhouse, cabana, and relaxing pool all of which are interconnected by a 1,200+ foot cedar boardwalk system.
With over 3,700 feet of shoreline, the island is bordered with lush vegetation and tropical palms. From fishing and watersports to sunbathing and swimming, neverending adventure awaits.
The shallow water surrounding the island attracts redfish, flounder, speckled trout, pompano, and Spanish mackerel in addition to the other abundant marine and wildlife that frequent the vicinity surrounding the island.
Located a short boat ride away, the historic town of Port St. Joe boasts boutiques, dining, and entertainment venues for those seeking mainland adventure.
Providing a true retreat and compelling investment potential, the ownership opportunities on the island are tailored to investors and vacation residence seekers alike.
With a dedicated management company in place to handle the logistics and day-to-day operations of the short-term rentals on the island, owners can take full advantage of the compelling passive income opportunity by placing their unit on the rental program if desired.
To ensure all time spent on the island is centered around relaxation and making everlasting family memories, all exterior elements are maintained by the Master Association alleviating the common maintenance and upkeep pain points often found with traditional vacation home ownership opportunities.
